Where to get a COVID test

COVID Testing for CHA Patients

Where: 195 Canal Street, Malden
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm
Appointments: Yes. Please call your CHA Primary Care Center for an appointment. Or make an appointment in MyChart.
Results: CHA patients will get results from their CHA primary care team within 2 days. Results will also be available in MyChart.

  • If coming by car, please keep windows rolled up.
  • There is no age limit for children. But your child must be able to sit still and tolerate the nose swab inside the vehicle.
  • Please bring a picture ID.
  • Tests are provided regardless of insurance. If you have insurance, CHA will bill them for the test (you may get a statement showing this).
  • COVID-19 (SARS-COV-2) viral testing is performed at our in-house CHA Laboratories. Outpatient testing is performed with nucleic acid amplification (NAAT) methods. This methodology is compliant with the most recent CDC guidelines for airline travel and other situations (schools, businesses, etc.) where COVID-19 molecular testing is required.
