CHA Everett Hospital is one of two CHA acute care hospitals north of Boston, MA. Located at the corner of Garland and Lawrence Streets in Everett, MA, we are a teaching site for Harvard Medical School and the Tufts University School of Medicine.

As the only hospital in our service area, we are proud to serve the residents of Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Revere and Winthrop, MA.

    Parking:

    There is a free parking garage across from the hospital on Garland Street. There is also a small parking area in front of the Emergency Department entrance for ED patients only.

    Bus: No direct access. Bus 110 is the closest bus line.

  • COVID Guidelines
    Who can come with you or visit you in the hospital?

    Patients coming for a clinic visit, to Urgent care or to the Emergency Department are allowed to bring at least one person with them. Additional people will be at the discretion of the provider and clinic.

    If you are coming to visit a patient in the hospital, please see our Visitor Policy page for current standards. .


    Please wear a mask when you come in.

    Don't worry, we'll be wearing them too. 

    Please do not wear a mask with valves or vents. These protect you but don't protect others.


    Everyone will be screened for illness before entering.

    You may be asked questions about COVID symptoms (fever or chills, shortness of breath, cough, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.)

    If you are feeling sick, or have been near someone who you know has COVID-19, please call us before your visit. Your care team may give you advice over the phone or ask you to be seen at a different location.


    You will be asked to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer when you enter any CHA building.

  • Get help when I feel sick?

    Please call us and let us know how you feel.

    Our nurses and doctors are always able to answer questions on the phone, even when the office is closed.

    If you have an urgent medical need (not an emergency):

    Please visit CHA Somerville Campus Urgent Care at 33 Tower Street, Somerville.

    If you are having a health emergency:

    Call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest emergency room.

    You can find 24 hour care with short wait times at CHA Cambridge Hospital and CHA Everett Hospital. When you go to a CHA emergency room, your CHA doctor will be notified about your health needs and can help coordinate your care.

    For the best service, just call your pharmacy to get your prescription refilled.

    Please don’t wait until your medication is gone before calling. However, if you do run out, please tell the pharmacist. They may be able to give you some medication until your refill has been approved.
