Bike 4 Books

The 16th annual Bike4Books will take place April 1 - 19, 2021.

Bike4Books charitable driveBike4Books benefits Project READ, CHA's childhood literacy program. At every wellness visit, children are given brand new, age-appropriate books, and their families are counseled about the importance of reading aloud. Many of our 30,000 children come from families who struggle to provide the basics and may not be able to afford books. All proceeds from Bike4Books are used to purchase books for this program.

There are two ways You can support Bike4Books!

Choose a physical activity such as biking, walking, running, swimming, spinning, playing a sport, etc., register and pay the registration fee below, and then invite friends, family and enemies to support your activity. Not only will you get your heart pumping, but you will also fill it with the joy of helping out a child.

Or you can be a Sponsor of Bike4Books, or support someone's activity by choosing their name in the drop down menu, or make a general donation to Bike4Books in the form below. Sponsors at the Literary Classic, Library, Dictionary and Thesaurus levels will have their logos added to this page and get Bike4Books swag. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to ensure there are enough books for every child's wellness visit.
